Easter 2012

Ok So it's a bit late... But here are Easter pics and a video of Most of Natalie's Easter egg hunt.

Brooklynn Nichole Morris

Brooklynn's birth story starts on Tuesday the 13th of March. I went in for a regular appointment. I was already 2-3cm dilated. I felt like what I thought were contractions on Thursday so we went to the hospital. I was 4cm. They sent me home after 3 hours and no change. I felt some mild contractions off and on all weekend. I decided that since I had an appointment again on Tuesday I would wait unless I felt pains that I could NOT stand. So I went in on Tuesday the 20th of March at 2pm for my appointment. I was 5cm then. I told my Doctor all that I had been feeling and if there was any way for us to kind of speed things up a little. She said that she didn't feel good inducing me but she could strip my membrains, So that is what we did and I went to the hospital. They checked me in and got paperwork signed around 4pm. Durring all of this I had my two-year-old, Natalie. Fortanatly My mother-in-law met up with us on our way to the hospital. I called my husband and told him to go ahead and finish out work and come later. When he came Natalie and he went and grabbed a bite. He came back and Mimi took Natalie home. about 8pm I started feeling contractions for real. When they came in and checked my around 9pm they broke my water and I asked for the epidural. I took the them 2 long hours to get me my epidural... After that I dozed in and out at about 2:30am they came in to check me and the doctor said that the head was right there! Brooklynn was ready! luckily they had alraedy gotten everything ready. I started pushing and after about 2 sets of pushing POP! out she came, and yes there was an audible pop. I felt a whoosh and the doctor was even surprised a little.

So Brooklynn Nichole Morris was Born at 2:53am on March 21st 2012. She weighs in at 6lbs and 15oz (just 2oz shy of what her sister weighed in at). And measured 18 inches. She is nursing great and is perfect. I am doing well as well, A little sore but still good.

Christmas 2011

We had a lot to do for Christmas this year. We had to wait to see where we would celebrate this year. Matt had to work all the way up to Christmas eve so we got to stay here, we were hoping to go up to my parents. So ALL my shopping was done last minute. but It was so much fun watching Natalie and knowing that she will remember for next year. It was fun.

feeling crafty

I made this cute little tutu the other day. I got the idea from a friend's blog. She called it "no sew" tutu. The only thing you have to sew is the elastic to make it the right size. it was really easy.

A few of her favorite things....

Natalie is now 17 months old and has a great personality. I thought that it would be fun for my readers to know some of Natalie's favorite things.

She loves the movie Finding Nemo. We watch it in the car. We watch it when we want Natalie to sit still for a while. And whenever we sit down in front of the TV she says "MO" and we say "Nemo?" and then she says "Yeah!"

She loves all sorts of balls. She likes to throw them and bounce them and she even dreams about them...lol.

Her favortie food is Blueberries.

Natalie loves books. Oh she comes over to us with a book in hand with a high pitched "Boo?"

Dogs.... She loves dogs. we have been watching Blue's clues on netfilx. she just can't get enough.

She loves it when Mommy and Daddy kiss. It is funny, I'll be holding her and try and give her to Daddy and she'll grab my shoulder and his and push us together. and she keeps doing it with a big grin on her face.

She love spinning around. on the merry-go-round, on her own, or having us toss her. anything that makes her dizzy.

She loves her Mommy. we say "Mommy can do no wrong." I can even punish her or ell her no and she'll still run to me over Daddy.

Natalie Loves to draw. She will get out the paper and crayons and makers, spread them out all around her on the floor and get down on her belly with her feet up in the air and color and draw and just have fun.

Her Favorite game is peek-a-boo. she'll hide behind the curtain and run out saying "Boo!" she'll peek around a corner. she'll even hide under the blankets or in her closet. it is so funny.

All in all we try o keep her active and her personality is growing each and every day, along with her vocabulary. I hope you all enjoy this peek into our little girls life.

Long time no post

Well a lot can happen in 5 months...lol. First thing I need to say is we have been jobless since December 30th. We have been looking but haven't had much luck yet. We realized that we would not be able to keep our apartment so we moved in with Reid and Christie (my in-laws). but before we did that my parents were able o fly us up there for a week. It was a lot of fun. I got to see how much Lizzy and KD had grown. I love going up there. Right after we got back from Washington we move into the basement of my in-law's house. that was in March. No much else happened in march come to think of it. April was easter of course, and this year Natalie was old enough to acctualy hunt for eggs. She had so much fun. Christie made her a bunny puppet too, we call it Jellybean, because Natalie fed it some of her jellybeans. I was able to get those pictures and videos up on Facebook and then our computer crashed. It crashed so bad Matt wasn't able to even reload window onto it. So we are borrowing one that Reid had that he wasn't really using. so that is why there are no picture of this post (Sorry). then was Mother's day, but no job, so no big surprises for me this year. I was able to make myself a new skirt though which made me very happy. All in All that pretty much brings y'all up to date.
